I took the past month off from writing here - overwhelmed with work, family, and holidays; disappointed in the election results; generally uninspired. Regrouping through music (did you catch that Sondheim shout out?), cooking, and extra IRL friend/family time.
Emerging from hibernation in time for Thanksgiving & (only slightly less importantly) to announce that I’ll be speaking on the final panel at next week’s Festival of DAM on Wednesday, December 4th. While I can’t invite you to my brother’s excellent dinner, I hope to see you online for the virtual festival - come for the whole event or pop into my session at 2:10 pm ET, Ensuring Your DAM Evolves to Match Your Changing Business Needs. Moderator Graham Allan and fellow panelist Rachael Singh will join me to discuss how to adapt our DAMs to the ever-changing business ecosystem. We’ll be taking questions, so please come with a curious mind!
Back to Thanksgiving, I am grateful for our DAM community this year. Seeing so many of you at DAMNY last month was lovely! To keep the conversation going, LinkedIn is fine, and I’ve moved to Bluesky if anyone wants to connect there as well. Hoping to use that space to share real-world DAM wins, issues (alongside world issues), and technology progress while bringing us DAM pros closer together.
