Last week was Adobe MAX 2023, hosted in Los Angeles and virtually. Did you miss it altogether, or any of the approximately 7653 sessions? Here’s how to catch up and learn more about how Adobe is updating the Creative Suite with seamless integration of their Firefly GenAI tool as well as other enhancements sure to impact the way we create and share DAM assets.
Watch any and all of the 175+ sessions (I would start with the keynote, the Inspiration keynote and the MAX Sneaks with Adam Devine)

Read my quick notes:
Firefly image model 2 is much more sophisticated and delivers better results
GenAI vectors mean print design can benefit from the digital tools too
Design templates from text prompts can help beat blank page paralysis
Text-to-video gives fairly good results already and can impact video production - especially stock - that same way text-to-image has already changed image production
Using reference images to inspire Firefly image generation gives amazing responses but means we have to be careful about what we supply and if it violates our/our clients proprietary images
The biggest: bringing Adobe Firefly Generative AI into Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of tools like Photoshop, Illustrator etc. to use it within your normal workflow means more designers, illustrators and other pros will start incorporating GenAI steps into their asset editing. How we label, name and credit the resulting assets needs to be a bigger discussion.
Anything I missed?
